Building Department Fails Residents Again

On December 2, 2013 a local concrete contractor poured the pads for a garage and basement without any thermal protection even though temps that night and in the following days reached far below freezing. During the August 13, 2013 municipal primary election in Eagle Mountain City there were numerous irregularities in the vote counting process that prompted me to investigate the possibility that the election might have been stolen. Last week I had to take some trash to the city’s dump and when I called the Utility Billing office to find out when it is open, I was told that it is only open on Saturdays from 8 am to 2 pm.
